Not so long ago, Cathy found herself, alone, in front of a blank page
at home. A mad talent at her fingertips. She is a pop artist. Her drawings are just like her: colorful, cheerful, modern, funny, and even cheeky. Her vision of the world can be understood just by looking at her drawings. She plays with symbols, she cultivates self-mockery, she caricatures the illustrious.
As for me, I discovered myself a long time ago.
A mad desire to conquer the world! First from my office, then on to France and Europe, and afterwards with even more vigor and concentration, America, Asia and Africa. Each country is an opportunity for me to observe and understand it, and ultimately to better serve it. Then, with my nose in my partners’ cellars, I pinpoint the qualities, service and prices that will please everyone.
And where does Nokat fit into all this? It comes from a cry from the heart, from Cathy’s heart: “let one of my paintings travel with your bottles; take it, bond it, and send it all over the world!”
Cathy, the artist and recluse wanted to shine.
And I, the Bordeaux girl, wanted lightness.
Lightness for Bordeaux, which craves it so much, without receiving it. It was a wonderful opportunity. Close the gates of the château and let ourselves be carried away by our inspirations and desires. Forget codes.
And that’s how, during a long weekend together, our collaboration was born!
Here’s how we put a frame on a bottle without a frame.
We designed our 1st wine, the 1st bottle with its pop and cash label, which has been traveling the world ever since.
Since then, we’ve been developing and developing!
One success has led to another, and our brand is expanding. But our leitmotiv remains the same: Bordeaux wines and nothing but Bordeaux, because we haven’t invented anything better yet.
Bordeaux wines, we all love to share them, the classic delicacy, long and precise, the finest balance, tantalizing our palates to the very last drop.
After it’s the standard of the brand, to be there for every occasion: juicy, frank, aromatic, full-bodied, smooth, exuberant… Our Bordeaux red, white and rosé, Saint Émilion and Médoc’s crémant, I wanted them to be comprehensive and without the blablabla.
